"Emperor. Empire. City - Imperial Castle Nuremberg"

The new permanent exhibition on the history of the castle will show you how the castle was built and its history during the last 900 years.

On your tour of the historical castle rooms, you can find out all about the old empire and how it functioned. Valuable exhibits like a statue of emperor Karl IV. or a wodden city model from 1540 in an exciting setting bring the past of the Imperial Castle to life. Next to that a visit to the imperial chapel, the palace and the collection of arms and armors are also worth a visit!
