Nuremberg Winter Village with Grant Wheel

Nuremberg Winter Village with Grant Wheel

Daniel Heydt

It invites you to a cozy and warm hut magic, with typical winter, regional culinary delicacies and winter drinks. Winery mulled wines, homemade eggnog, freshly tapped TUCHER beers on tap, Franconian wines and a winter café offer a welcome meeting place after shopping and sightseeing. Culinary delights include pasta from the Parmesan loaf, flamed salmon, shashlik, grilled sausages, vegetarian specialties, fish specialties, grilled delicacies, XXL fries and many sweet delicacies such as churros, Baumstriezel, fruit in Belgian chocolate, the finest crêpes, original Nuremberg gingerbread and much more.

A heavenly voyage of discovery above the rooftops of the city - a lasting impression.

The readers of the American travel magazine “Condé Nast Traveler” once judged Nuremberg to be the most beautiful city in Germany. The unique historical backdrop was emphasized, the very special impression of which can best be seen from above. A 38-metre-high Ferris wheel in the Winter Village provides special moments above the rooftops of the city. Following its great success last year, Nuremberg is the only city in Bavaria to offer this special highlight at Christmas time. In closed panoramic gondolas, it offers a great all-round view with a fantastic panorama. A magical winter labyrinth is fun for the whole family.
