Craftmen’s Courtyard in Nuremberg – a friendly welcome awaits you!

Behind massive city walls and just a few steps from the New Museum handicrafts and traditional Franconian specialties can be bought.

Hidden inside the massive city walls and just steps away from the Neues Museum, handicrafts and traditional Franconian specialties can be purchased from small halftimbered houses: a pewterer, glass cutter, leather maker, potter, gold and silversmith, gingerbread and ornate cookie maker sell their wares, repair objects, provide information and let visitors look over their shoulders while they work.

Gift items can be found in the arts and crafts stores. And those who are hungry and thirsty after a hard day‘s shopping can take a break in the Weinstube, Bratwurstglöcklein and the BALKON.
